Welding Competition to Start on March 5 in Brownsburg, Indiana
The demand for welders in the United States is growing and the economic development is one of the powerful factors that influences the growth of this demand. That is why companies that need such workers contribute money into the development of the educational institutions that may involve a lot of young people into this sphere of business.
Besides, welding is becoming a highly paid sphere and young people can get the wanted money for creating a family and they will not feel so much financially unstable.
That is why a lot of technical colleges and institutes usually hold competitions to attract attention of young people. As a result, Midwest Technical Institute is going to organize this sort of competition on March 5 and 6th for juniors and senior students. All the students will have a chance to take part in the competition which will take place at MTI’s Brownsburg campus, 554 Pitt Road, Brownsburg, Indiana. Each welding school will have a chance to introduce a team of five welders that will have to participate in different challenges and to check the skills.
Another most important mission of this competition is to promote hands-on education that may be actually demanded in the job market. The competition will attract about a hundred of young people from different schools. Besides, the winners of this competition will be awarded with cash prices and trophies. The top winner will get $500 which is a great stimulant for continuing education and reaching more professional and carrier goals. The competition has a long history that started in 2007 and has always been a place of showing welding talents of students. At the same time, students will have a chance to examine the Brownsburg campus and to get useful information in the sphere of how to reach their career goals within the shortest time possible.
