Bay College West Gets New Welding Equipment for Students

There are a lot of colleges offering welding programs but not all of them are equipped with the latest technologies to provide the students with the demanded skills. Besides, a college is more demanded among companies that are looking for welders that would meet their requirements without spending extra time on their re-qualification.

The achievements of the college are revealed in the federal grand of $400,000 received from the trade adjustment assistance community college. With the help of the funds, the college managed to renew the existing equipment and to get more space for the shop which will be located in Kingsford.

Instructors are rather excited as they can actually offer twice as many options for students as before. Right now, students will have about 40 new machines available for training and practicing their skills.
