New Welding Program Started by Virginia College
A new welding program has been recently introduced by Virginia College and enrolling of students has already been started. Teachers that are going to train skills of new students are sure that young people will get the needed skills and asserts that are highly demanded in today’s business world.
The program will include 44 weeks of trainings and is supposed to start on June 19. Thanks to this welding program, students will have a chance to get hands-on training with using modern tools and equipment.
Young people will have a chance to complete their tasks bad to do work that professional welders do daily. In addition, students will learn different types of welding and equipment used to perform them. Finally, they will be prepared for three national welding certifications. The information on safety, related computer applications and drafting will be presented as well. All the laboratory settings are created to provide students with the needed environment to learn information associated with gas metal arc welding as well as shielded metal arc welding.
Besides, welders need to learn the communication skills that will be rather useful when they get hired. There are different companies in the area and most of them need welders as a number of retirees increases with each day. In addition to the growing demand, students will have a chance to earn good money within 44 weeks. After completing the program, future welders will be ready to work in different industries and it will not be a problem to find a job for them.
