New Welding Courses Presented by Surry Community College

Those people that would like to start a career of a welder or to improve their skills can use a lot of opportunities and many colleges represent welding programs. One of them is Surry Community College in Dobson, North Carolina that will provide the same opportunity this summer. The program is called Welding Fundamentals and is treated as the fastest way to learn welding skills.

This course will help students get prepared for entry-level Stick as well as arc MIG welding. Students will be able to learn a lot of useful things such as vertical, flat and horizontal welding. To perform welding in a safe way, you will have a chance to get information on welding safety. The cost of the welding program is not that high and makes up $183 but finishing this course, you will have a chance to work as a welder and forget about the financial difficulties you have. Moreover, people will participate in Summer Welding Series that is designated for business owners, farmers and homeowners. It is represented by three short courses and students will be able to learn MIG, Stick and Oxy-Fuel fuel welding. Each of these short courses will cost you $189 but it is nothing if you earn $15 per hour.
