Welding Academy Presents Welding to School
The Welding Academy has recently represented a beneficial two-year program and students will have an opportunity to get a high school diploma with a welding diploma. The program can be joined by juniors and seniors. But those community members who are interested in welding can also take part in the project. Seniors who are going to finish the program will have a chance to come back to Cardinal and to get their welding degrees.
It is a perfect example when a welding program can be presented to scholars and those who are interested in finding a job after school will be happy to join the program. Industrial technical instructors will provide all the possible information and assistance to students to gain skills that will be required at work. The program was developed in cooperation with local companies to meet the needs of them and to provide the needed jobs for students.
Those students that would like to participate in the program will be provided with the IHCC welding textbooks to see which of the topics will need to be covered within the school year. At present, there are about 14 students that have joint the program and will be provided with the extensive information on welding. Besides, there are students that have some previous experience in welding who know what the welding job is and want to continue getting skills needed to make up a professional welder.
Instructors are happy with the results achieved and are looking forward to more students to join the program. It is obvious that welding is demanded nowadays and those who have enough skills will be getting good money for work done. Additionally, companies that operate in the spheres of manufacturing and fabrication will have welders that will be prepared for work and they will not need to spend any time and money on re-educating newcomers.
